Qualifications & Experience
- Passed G.C.E. O/L examination in at least six subjects
- Sat for G.C.E. A/L examination
- One of the following vocational qualifications:
- National Diploma in Technology (NDT)
- Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE)
- National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES)
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institute
Preferred Experience:
- Basic knowledge in electrical testing and measurement systems
- Experience with instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers
- Understanding of battery systems and charging technologies
- Exposure to EV or lithium-ion battery testing environments is an added advantage
- Ability to maintain technical records and laboratory documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical and battery-related testing activities under supervision
- Support battery charging, discharging, thermal, vibration, and safety tests
- Operate electrical testing instruments and laboratory equipment
- Record, organize, and maintain test data and technical logs
- Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation
- Support calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures
- Coordinate with engineers and technical staff during testing operations
Required Skills
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge
- Laboratory instrumentation handling skills
- Data recording and technical documentation ability
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Teamwork and independent working capability
- Communication and reporting skills
- Awareness of electrical and laboratory safety practices
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: Rs. 46,960/- (As per DMS Circular 01/2025 – Schedule II)
- Cost of Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800/-
