Job Overview

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must satisfy one of the following qualification pathways:
- A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Management, Business Administration, or Accounting from a UGC-recognized university
AND a Postgraduate Degree (Master’s level) in a relevant field OR Corporate Membership of a recognized Chartered professional institute
OR - Full Membership of a recognized Chartered professional institution relevant to the finance field
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum of 15 years of managerial-level experience in a corporation, statutory board, or reputed private institution
Internal Candidates:
- Must meet the above qualifications
- OR minimum 5 years of satisfactory service in MM Grade I in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing fields
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and financial strategy of NERD Centre
- Oversee accounting, auditing, and financial reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with government financial regulations and policies
- Manage fund allocation, expenditure control, and financial risk management
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting
- Supervise finance teams and ensure operational efficiency
- Coordinate with government institutions and auditors
- Strengthen financial governance and internal control systems

Salary & Benefits
- Salary Scale: HM 1-3 (2025) – Rs. 152,500 – 214,000
- Gross Salary: Approx. Rs. 133,028 + Rs. 25,000 allowance + Rs. 17,800 cost of living allowance
- EPF: Employer 15% contribution, Employee 10%
- ETF: Employer 3% contribution
- Transport Allowance: Rs. 50,000 (as per government circulars)
- Medical reimbursement under approved scheme
- Other government-approved allowances and benefits
