Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must satisfy one of the following qualification pathways:

• A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Management, Business Administration, or Accounting from a UGC-recognized university
  AND a Postgraduate Degree (Master’s level) in a relevant field OR Corporate Membership of a recognized Chartered professional institute
  OR
• Full Membership of a recognized Chartered professional institution relevant to the finance field

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of 15 years of managerial-level experience in a corporation, statutory board, or reputed private institution

Internal Candidates:

• Must meet the above qualifications
• OR minimum 5 years of satisfactory service in MM Grade I in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing fields

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and financial strategy of NERD Centre
• Oversee accounting, auditing, and financial reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with government financial regulations and policies
• Manage fund allocation, expenditure control, and financial risk management
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting
• Supervise finance teams and ensure operational efficiency
• Coordinate with government institutions and auditors
• Strengthen financial governance and internal control systems

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: HM 1-3 (2025) – Rs. 152,500 – 214,000
• Gross Salary: Approx. Rs. 133,028 + Rs. 25,000 allowance + Rs. 17,800 cost of living allowance
• EPF: Employer 15% contribution, Employee 10%
• ETF: Employer 3% contribution
• Transport Allowance: Rs. 50,000 (as per government circulars)
• Medical reimbursement under approved scheme
• Other government-approved allowances and benefits
