Qualifications & Experience

• BSc Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field (UGC recognized)
• Strong hands-on experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Python, Hive, Impala, Kafka, and Flink
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Strong understanding of statistical algorithms, machine learning concepts, and predictive modeling
• Experience in telecom or large-scale data environments will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, Informatica, Hive/Impala on Hadoop/Cloudera platforms
• Build and manage workflow orchestration using tools such as Informatica and Oozie
• Design standardized data models across ingestion, staging, and reporting layers
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and validation through reconciliation and quality checks
• Monitor and support production clusters using Cloudera Manager and Linux environments
• Optimize Spark job performance through partitioning, tuning, and resource management
• Implement data governance and security using tools like Apache Ranger
• Deliver curated datasets for business teams including Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Customer Care

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Flink)
• Advanced Python programming and data engineering skills
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL architecture
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling concepts
• Ability to work with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
