Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• A Special Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) of four years in Agriculture Technology and Management with a major in Crop Science, Horticulture, Floriculture, Forestry, from a recognized University/HEI.
• Minimum one (01) year of post-degree experience in landscape management in a State Corporation, reputed private organization, or supervisory capacity.

OR

Option 2

• A Special Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) of four years in Landscape Architecture from a recognized University/HEI.
• Minimum one (01) year of post-degree experience in landscape management in a State Corporation, reputed private organization, or supervisory capacity.

OR

Option 3

• A Special Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) of four years in Botany from a recognized University/HEI.
• Minimum two (02) years of post-degree experience in landscaping in a State Corporation or reputed private organization in a supervisory capacity.

Age Limit

• Applicants should not be more than 60 years of age on the closing date of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and maintain the University’s landscaped areas.
• Supervise gardening, horticultural, and landscape maintenance staff.
• Design and implement landscape improvement projects.
• Manage lawns, gardens, trees, ornamental plants, and irrigation systems.
• Monitor landscape health and environmental sustainability.
• Coordinate the maintenance of outdoor recreational and academic spaces.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of landscaping equipment.
• Prepare reports and manage landscape-related resources efficiently.
