Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects at one sitting with at least two (02) credit passes.
• Hold a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 or 3 in a Technical/Vocational Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC), relevant to the duties of the post.

OR

Option 2

• Passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects with at least two (02) credit passes.
• Have not less than one (01) year of work experience in a relevant field with industrial skills.

Age Limit

• Applicants should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age on the closing date of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratories for practical classes and research activities.
• Arrange, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Assist academic staff during laboratory sessions.
• Handle laboratory materials and consumables safely.
• Maintain inventory records of laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and compliance with safety procedures.
• Report equipment faults and assist with routine maintenance.
• Perform other laboratory support duties assigned by the University.
