Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 or higher Proficiency Certificate in Mechanical Technology.
• The qualification should be issued by a Technical or Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and be relevant to the duties of the post.

Age Limit

• Applicants should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age on the closing date of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of University vehicles and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective repairs.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, and mechanical components.
• Maintain workshop tools, machinery, and service records.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Perform other mechanical duties assigned by the University.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: UPL 3 (III): Rs. 48,005 – 164,900; 55,845 p.m. (Effective from 01.01.2027).
