The Bank is seeking a technically skilled professional to strengthen its electronic security operations at the Head Office.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Minimum Diploma qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Security Systems, CCTV Technology, Telecommunication, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
• Applicants should have served not less than five (05) years in one of the following capacities:
  • Chief Inspector – Sri Lanka Police
  • Captain – Sri Lanka Army
  • Lieutenant – Sri Lanka Navy
  • Flight Lieutenant – Sri Lanka Air Force
• Applicants who resigned or retired on medical grounds will not be considered.
• Practical, hands-on experience in the electronic security field, including:
  • CCTV surveillance systems
  • Bank security alarm systems
  • Access control systems
  • Intrusion detection systems
  • Electronic supervision and monitoring systems related to bank security
• Ability to diagnose and analyze technical faults.
• Experience coordinating system repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ability to liaise effectively with external service providers and vendors.
• Strong commitment to ensuring system reliability and operational continuity.
• Applicants should be below 45 years of age as at the closing date of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems.
• Ensure the proper operation of bank security alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, and access control systems.
• Monitor system performance and maintain continuous operational readiness.
• Identify, diagnose, and analyze technical faults in electronic security systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Liaise with external service providers and vendors regarding technical support.
• Ensure timely rectification of system failures to minimize operational risks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Security.

Salary & Benefits

National Savings Bank offers an attractive remuneration package together with a comprehensive range of employee benefits.

Salary Scale:

• Rs. 90,645 – 115,045 (1,220 × 20)
• Approximate initial monthly gross salary: Rs. 195,000
