The Embassy’s Facility Management Office is responsible for maintaining government-owned and leased facilities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance standards.
Job Description
The Facility Management Assistant will support facility maintenance operations by conducting inspections, coordinating maintenance tasks, and assisting with repair and preventive maintenance activities across embassy properties and residences.
The role involves interacting with customers, contractors, technicians, and maintenance teams to ensure tasks are completed according to required standards and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of government-owned and leased buildings and residences
- Assist in identifying maintenance, alteration, and repair requirements
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Monitor maintenance progress and work quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and maintenance staff
- Assist with small repair and maintenance projects
- Escort and support maintenance teams within embassy facilities and controlled access areas
- Ensure operational tasks comply with safety and maintenance standards
- Support customer service and facility coordination activities
Required Qualifications and Skills
Educational Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school is required
Work Experience
- For Grade FP-07: Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- For Grade FP-08: Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Language Requirements
- Good working knowledge of English including speaking, reading, and writing
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret/Confidential security clearance
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively with contractors and maintenance teams
- Good organizational and customer service abilities
- Attention to detail and operational accuracy
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: USD 38,926 – USD 63,944 per year
- Work Schedule:
- Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Part Time: 16–32 hours per week

Security Clearance
Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret/Confidential security clearance and successfully complete a background investigation.
