The Card Operations Division plays a vital role in managing payment card services, transaction processing, reconciliation, fraud monitoring, and customer support.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka in one of the following disciplines:
  • Banking
  • Finance
  • Business Administration
  • Management
  • Commerce
  • Accounting
  • Information Technology
  • Science
  • Mathematics
• Diploma in Banking & Finance from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) or an equivalent professional qualification in Banking and Finance.
• Certification or training related to Card Operations, Payment Systems, Fraud Prevention, Risk Management, or Customer Service Management.
• Minimum of two (02) years of working experience in the financial industry.
• Experience in Card Centre Operations will be an added advantage.
• Applicants should be below 30 years of age at the closing date of applications.
• (Age limit is not applicable to internal applicants.)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily Card Centre operations, including transaction pattern monitoring, fraud rule monitoring, compliance monitoring, account-level monitoring, GL balance monitoring, and unusual transaction monitoring.
• Monitor Visa, Mastercard, LankaPay, and Pay-by-Account (PBA) transaction reconciliations.
• Perform settlement-to-General Ledger (GL) reconciliation and exception management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Central Bank regulations, and card scheme requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Support team members in completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• Manage operational challenges and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Promote increased card usage, customer engagement, and virtual card initiatives.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale:

• Rs. 90,645 – Rs. 115,045 (1,220 × 20)

Approximate Initial Monthly Gross Salary:

• Rs. 195,000
