Qualifications & Experience

• Passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination.
• Previous experience in a hospital or laboratory environment will be an added advantage.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform assigned duties efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work on shift duties when required.
• Responsible, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory staff with daily laboratory support activities.
• Receive, transport, and handle laboratory specimens according to hospital procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the laboratory and work areas.
• Prepare laboratory equipment and materials required for daily operations.
• Dispose of laboratory waste following infection control and safety guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and supplies.
• Support laboratory technicians and other healthcare professionals as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, laboratory procedures, and safety standards.
