Qualifications & Experience

• Part qualification in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, CMA, or a related accounting qualification.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and Sri Lankan tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate import activities and liaise with clearing agents.
• Maintain accurate documentation and financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and ledger balances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audit and tax processes.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
