Educational Qualifications & Eligibility
โ For External Applicants
Applicants must satisfy all of the following:
- Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level in six (06) subjects in one sitting, including four (04) credit passes, with compulsory subjects:
- Sinhala / Tamil
- Mathematics
- Passed at least three (03) subjects (excluding the Common Test) at the G.C.E. Advanced Level
โ For Internal Applicants
- Employees in non-sk category / unskilled service categories with the following qualifications may apply:
- Passed G.C.E. O/L in six (06) subjects in one sitting with four (04) credit passes, including:
- Sinhala / Tamil
- Mathematics
- Passed G.C.E. O/L in six (06) subjects in one sitting with four (04) credit passes, including:
- Must have been:
- Confirmed in service
- Completed 05 years of continuous, satisfactory service in a permanent post prior to the closing date
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years

Salary Scale โ 2026
Selected candidates will be paid according to the approved salary code:
MA 1-1-2025 (from 01.01.2025):
Rs. 46,220 โ 10 ร 540 โ 7 ร 630 โ 4 ร 890 โ 20 ร 1,190 โ Rs. 83,390
โ Government-approved allowances will be paid in addition to the basic salary.

Terms of Employment & Benefits
- Appointment is permanent
- Subject to a 03-year probationary period
- EPF & ETF Contributions:
- Employee: 8% to Employeesโ Provident Fund
- Employer: 12% EPF + 3% ETF
- Employment governed by recruitment and promotion scheme approved by the Director General of Management Services
