🧠 Job Role & Responsibilities
This role is part of the Landslide Research and Risk Management Division. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing national landslide risk management strategies
- Conducting field investigations and technical inspections
- Providing technical leadership and staff training
- Participating in government technical committees
- Preparing comprehensive scientific and technical reports
This position is highly suitable for professionals in engineering, geology, environmental science, and related research fields.
🎓 Educational & Professional Qualifications
🔹 External Candidates (One of the following)
Option A:
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science / Technology (UGC recognized)
- Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) or Corporate Membership
- Minimum 08 years research & development experience
OR Option B:
- Special Degree in relevant field
- PhD in relevant discipline
- Minimum 05 years research experience
🔹 Internal Candidates
Option A:
- Degree in relevant field
- Postgraduate Degree or Professional Membership
- Minimum 08 years service in Academic/Research (AR-1 category)
OR Option B:
- Degree in relevant field
- PhD qualification
- Minimum 05 years service in AR-1 category
📌 Research publications will be considered an added advantage.
💰 Salary Scale
- Salary Code: AR-2
- Salary Scale: Rs. 133,220 – 10 × 3,600 – Rs. 169,220
- Basic Salary Step: Rs. 116,763
🎂 Age Limit
- Minimum: 30 years
- Maximum: 55 years
