Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six subjects at one sitting, including credit passes for Sinhala, Tamil or English Language, Mathematics, and two other subjects.
• Should have passed at least one (01) subject at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination (excluding the Common General Test).
• Must have successfully completed a Typing or Secretarial Practice course conducted by a recognized Technical College, National Youth Council, National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA), Vocational Training Authority (VTA), or another institution registered under the Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training.
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties anywhere in Sri Lanka.
• Should possess good moral character.
• Must have completed all required qualifications before the closing date of applications.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Perform typing and document preparation duties.
• Prepare official reports, letters, and departmental correspondence.
• Maintain accurate office records and documentation.
• Assist with administrative and clerical functions.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of official documents.
• Support daily operations of the department as assigned.

Required Skills

• Sinhala or English typing skills with a minimum speed of 20 words per minute.
• Computer literacy.
