Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

• Passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects at one sitting with two (02) credits.

AND

• Successfully completed one (01) year of practical training or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field recognized by the Department of Agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily landscape and gardening activities across the University.
• Monitor the maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, and ornamental plants.
• Guide and coordinate landscape maintenance staff.
• Ensure proper irrigation, pruning, planting, and fertilization activities.
• Maintain landscaping tools, equipment, and materials.
• Assist in planning campus landscape improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards.
• Perform other landscape-related duties assigned by the University.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: U-MT 1 (II): Rs. 51,095 – 73,540; 106,400 – 60,575 (As per the University salary structure effective from 01.01.2027).
