Qualifications & Experience

• G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) qualification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a hospital or hotel environment will be an added advantage.
• Well-groomed appearance with a pleasant personality.
• Good discipline and professional conduct.
• Hotel school qualification or cleaning service training certificate will be advantageous.
• Ability to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Steward

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food service and dining areas.
• Ensure utensils, kitchen equipment, and service areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Assist in managing inventories of crockery, cutlery, and cleaning materials.
• Support food and beverage operations through timely setup and clearing activities.
• Follow hospital safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Housekeeping Assistant

• Clean and maintain hospital wards, corridors, and common areas.
• Ensure patient rooms, nursing stations, and washrooms remain clean and organized.
• Replace linens and replenish supplies as required.
• Maintain a comfortable and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Coordinate with supervisors to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the hospital.
