Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, configuration, and upgrading of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, peripheral, and basic network issues.
• Support operating system installation and basic software setup.
• Replace or repair faulty hardware components under supervision.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
• Assist in LAN cabling, patching, and basic network device setup.
• Maintain hardware inventory and update asset records.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and repairs.
• Support IT team during system upgrades and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) or Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
• Diploma in IT, Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field (NVQ or equivalent will be an added advantage).
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware components including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows) and common software applications.
• Willingness to learn hardware troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
