Job Summary
The Relationship Manager (Liability Products) will be responsible for driving deposit mobilization initiatives, managing corporate client relationships, supporting liability product growth, and achieving deposit growth targets. The role involves collaborating with corporate clients, NGOs, BOI companies, and other institutional customers while promoting banking products and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive deposit mobilization initiatives to achieve corporate banking growth objectives.
- Support the Head of Deposit Mobilization (Corporate Banking) in achieving liability growth targets.
- Maintain exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, NGOs, BOI companies, and institutional customers.
- Support new client acquisition and manage customer documentation.
- Retain existing deposits and increase low-cost funding sources.
- Cross-sell and up-sell banking products to strengthen the corporate banking portfolio.
- Promote corporate banking liability products and support business development initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Full or part professional qualification in:
- Marketing
- Banking
- Finance
- Or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in:
- Corporate Banking
- Transaction Banking
- Wholesale Banking
- Branch Banking
- Experience must be gained within a commercial bank or Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI).
- Proven track record of achieving deposit growth targets and managing Corporate/Top SME clients.
Required Competencies
- Strong knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to digital banking products and liability product promotions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong results-driven mindset.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term corporate client relationships.
