Qualifications & Experience

Candidates applying for this role must fulfill the statutory specifications :

• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree offered by a university or higher educational institution established by an Act of Parliament of Sri Lanka or recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise everyday operations of assigned university academic programs and training courses.

• Maintain thorough academic records, program progress trackers, student datasets, and administrative reports.

• Liaise with university faculties, external vocational institutes, and industry professionals to manage class schedules and workshops.

• Assist in organizing examinations, structured training workshops, and university program development committees.

• Resolve administrative issues related to program logistics and resource distribution.

Required Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of higher education or vocational system administration.

• Outstanding problem-solving, project scheduling, and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and cooperative skills to work closely with academic personnel and student batches.

• High proficiency in using database software, office suites, and online project tools.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: Salaries will be paid in compliance with the provisions of Management Services Circular No. 06/2025 dated 25/03/2025.

• Salary Code: U-MN2-2025

• Nature of Appointment: Permanent with entitlement to Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).

• Additional Benefits: Government-approved allowances applicable to the university workforce system will be disbursed.

Important Notes

• Age Limit: Applicants must be between twenty-two (22) and forty-five (45) years of age. The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

• Nature of Post: This position is strictly non-transferable.

• Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates will be assessed via a written competitive examination and/or a structured interview.
