Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics (LHD), Sri Lanka’s first and only CAP-accredited laboratory, is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Phlebotomists to join its growing laboratory services team. The successful candidates will be responsible for specimen collection operations while ensuring patient satisfaction, quality standards, and accurate laboratory testing procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
Candidates should meet one of the following requirements:
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification in the Bio Science stream.
OR
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) qualification with a one-year Nursing Diploma from a recognized institution.
OR
- Minimum two years of experience in adult and paediatric phlebotomy/blood collection procedures within a recognized laboratory.
Additional qualifications:
- Good understanding of specimen collection procedures.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality standards and patient care practices.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood sample collection and specimen collection procedures accurately and safely.
- Ensure smooth operation of daily sample collection activities.
- Follow ISO standards and laboratory quality protocols.
- Maintain high levels of patient care and customer satisfaction.
- Handle and label specimens correctly to ensure testing accuracy.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
- Coordinate with laboratory personnel to ensure timely processing of samples.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection.
- Support laboratory operations in delivering reliable diagnostic services.
