Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to lead and oversee the end-to-end operational functions of the organization. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, seamless service delivery, efficiency improvements, and an exceptional patient and customer experience across all non-clinical and service departments.

The successful candidate will play a key strategic leadership role in driving operational efficiency, service quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the hospital group while supporting organizational growth and transformation objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in operations management.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-functional operations within healthcare or complex service environments.
- Strong background in overseeing non-clinical operations including:
- Facilities Management
- Engineering Services
- Security Operations
- Housekeeping Services
- Transport Management
- Patient Service Functions
- Demonstrated experience in customer experience and service excellence initiatives.
- Strong understanding of operational KPIs, process improvement methodologies, and service quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance patient-facing service operations including customer care, admissions, call centre, OPD, and IP services.
- Oversee operational efficiency and quality standards across facilities, engineering, security, fire and safety, transport, housekeeping, and food & beverage service units.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all non-clinical and service functions.
- Ensure seamless integration and coordination of services to deliver exceptional patient and customer experiences.
- Drive organization-wide operational excellence and productivity initiatives.
- Implement continuous improvement programs to optimize service delivery and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, healthcare standards, and organizational policies.
- Monitor operational KPIs and develop strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead resource optimization initiatives while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
- Introduce innovative practices and process improvements to strengthen operational performance.
