Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for managing preventive and breakdown maintenance while ensuring uninterrupted production operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in handling heavy machinery and maintenance systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and execute predictive, preventive, and breakdown maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
• Improve equipment efficiency and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with production teams for smooth operations
• Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory standards
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of machinery
• Lead maintenance technicians and contractors when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in heavy machinery maintenance (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean Maintenance, or Kaizen (preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns

• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, maintenance systems)
