Job Description

The Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all garments meet international quality standards through inspections, reporting, and collaboration with production teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product excellence for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on woven & knit garments (men, women & kids)
• Manage factory evaluations based on SOP standards
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve bulk production issues
• Analyze and prevent quality problems proactively
• Train factory teams on buyer requirements and product standards
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards
• Maintain accurate QC/QA reports and records
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve quality processes

Requirements

• 10–15 years’ experience in Quality Control / QA (garment exports industry)
• Strong technical knowledge of woven & knit garments
• Good understanding of international quality standards
• Strong communication skills (English & Sinhala)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and quality focus
• Strong decision-making capability
