Qualifications & Experience

• Attorney-at-Law qualification or candidates expected to qualify as Attorneys-at-Law in 2026 are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of one year of legal experience will be considered an added advantage.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Fluency in both English and Sinhala.
• Ability to work independently in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
• Commissioner for Oaths qualification is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the company before the Arbitration Centre, District Court, Magistrate Court, High Court, Appeal Court, and Supreme Court.
• Draft, review, and verify legal documents.
• Review and evaluate commercial agreements.
• Manage and maintain assigned legal portfolios.
• Provide legal support and guidance on company matters.
• Ensure legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan legal procedures.
• Legal drafting and documentation skills.
• Litigation and court representation abilities.
• Contract review and legal analysis.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently with high professional integrity.
