The organization is currently seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Finance Manager to lead financial operations and management accounting activities at its Corporate Head Office in Colombo.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the finance functions of the allocated business division while overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and management accounting operations. The role requires strong financial leadership, SAP system knowledge, and the ability to support strategic business decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance functions of the assigned SBU or division.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports.
• Implement and monitor accounting and finance policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure timely preparation and presentation of financial and management information.
• Prepare and implement budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow plans.
• Liaise with internal auditors, banks, and financial institutions on business matters.
• Manage direct and indirect taxation, expense controls, procurement, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor trade receivables and ensure timely collection of overdue payments.
• Support management decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Membership in:
  • CA Sri Lanka (CASL)
  • CIMA
  • ACCA
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting management.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in:
  • SAP systems
  • Trading organizations
  • Financial management
  • Management accounting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
