The organization is currently seeking a results-driven and technically competent Sales Manager for its Bearing & Power Transmission Division to strengthen industrial sales operations and expand market presence across Sri Lanka.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading industrial sales operations related to bearings and power transmission products while achieving divisional sales targets and profitability goals. The role requires strong technical sales expertise, leadership capabilities, customer relationship management skills, and the ability to identify new industrial business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales budgets, revenue targets, and profitability objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand industrial market share.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial customers and business partners.
• Promote and sell industrial bearings and power transmission products with technical support.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and sales reports.
• Monitor sales KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Lead, guide, and manage the sales team to achieve divisional goals.
• Optimize sales channel performance and market coverage strategies.
• Coordinate with principals, suppliers, and internal departments for business growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
• Full or part professional qualifications in related disciplines will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial bearings sales management within a reputed organization.
• Strong technical knowledge of:
  • Industrial Bearings
  • Power Transmission Products
  • Industrial sales operations
• Proven ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Computer literacy with effective presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Sri Lanka.
