Job Summary

The Executive – Policy & Governance will report to the Head of Policy and Business Governance. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s policy register, coordinating policy reviews, updating procedures, and ensuring policies remain current, relevant, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the Company’s Policy and Procedure Manual Registry.
• Ensure all policy records are:
  • Accurate.
  • Updated.
  • Easily accessible.
• Issue reminders to policy owners regarding:
  • Policy reviews.
  • Renewals.
  • Approval deadlines.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and status updates related to policy and procedure progress.
• Draft, review, revise, and update:
  • Policies.
  • Procedure manuals.
  • Operational guidelines.
• Ensure documentation aligns with:
  • Business requirements.
  • Regulatory expectations.
  • Industry best practices.
• Prepare staff circulars, internal communications, guidelines, and related documentation.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for:
  • System enhancements.
  • New business process developments.
• Identify opportunities to improve:
  • Documentation processes.
  • Workflows.
  • Operational efficiency.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or full/part professional qualifications in:
  • Accounting.
  • Finance.
  • Management.
  • Law.
  • Related fields.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in operations, preferably within:
  • Banking sector.
  • Finance industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of:
  • Business operations.
  • Financial products.
  • Processes.
  • Internal control frameworks.
• Good skills in:
  • Policy drafting.
  • Documentation.
  • Business writing.
• Ability to prepare clear, practical, and structured policy documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
