Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar technical role.
• NVQ Level 4 or above in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Building Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
• Diploma or Certificate from a recognized technical institute will be an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, elevators, generators, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and engineering documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building services, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, elevators, generators, and water supply systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Oversee the maintenance of generators, UPS systems, fire detection and protection systems, automated car parks, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Supervise contractors and external service providers while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to technical breakdowns and emergency situations.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, equipment history, and statutory compliance documentation.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance materials.
