Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in payroll operations.
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of Sri Lankan payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within deadlines.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
- Handle statutory payments including EPF, ETF, APIT, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and update employee payroll and personal records.
- Ensure payroll activities comply with Sri Lankan labour laws and company policies.
- Support payroll-related financial processes and reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll information.
- Deliver high-quality payroll services while meeting client expectations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll administration.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and data management skills.
- Understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and payroll compliance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
