Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should meet one of the following qualification and experience combinations:

• A Degree from a recognized university in Information Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience, including 3 years at supervisory level in Information Systems Auditing, preferably in a banking environment.

OR

• A Postgraduate Degree/Qualification from a recognized university in Information Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including 2 years at supervisory level in Information Systems Auditing, preferably in a banking environment.

In addition, candidates should:

• Possess a professional certification in CISA.
• Possess CISM, which is essential.
• CCNA certification is optional.
• Experience in scripting languages will be an advantage.
• Possess good written and oral communication skills.
• Have strong presentation skills and IT skills.
• Possess strong knowledge of IT operational processes, information systems and information security controls.
• Possess good management and collaboration skills.
• Preferably be below 50 years of age.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise Information Systems (IS) auditing activities.
• Evaluate IT operational processes and information systems.
• Assess information security controls and identify potential control weaknesses.
• Support effective information systems audit processes within the banking environment.
• Apply professional knowledge in IT auditing, information security and IT operations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with relevant teams during audit activities.
• Provide management-level oversight and support for information systems audit functions.
• Prepare and communicate audit-related findings and observations through appropriate reporting and presentation channels.
