Job Overview

Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL), a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join its Real Estate Department as a Junior Executive – Real Estate.

This role involves supporting real estate operations, property administration, field activities, property inspections and coordination with customers and relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain property records and related documentation.
• Coordinate real estate-related field activities.
• Handle applications and follow up on approvals, permits and certificates from local authorities.
• Conduct site visits and property inspections.
• Liaise with customers and relevant stakeholders on property-related matters.
• Assist in other operational activities of the department as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
• Relevant professional or academic qualifications in:
  • Real Estate
  • Property Management
  • Business Administration
  • A related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in property administration, real estate operations or a similar role is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct field visits and coordinate with external authorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of a valid riding/driving licence will be an added advantage.
• Applicants should be 30 years of age or below.

• Ability to coordinate with customers, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake field visits and property inspections.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
