Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Second Officer or in an equivalent position.
- Strong understanding of branch operational controls.
- Good knowledge of customer service processes.
- Understanding of branch procedures and operational requirements.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify operational irregularities and control weaknesses.
- Possess a valid driving licence for both motor vehicles and motorcycles.
- Willingness to travel and be deployed to branches within the network when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support independent monitoring and review of branch operations.
- Review branch activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor operational controls and identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
- Review customer service processes and branch operational practices.
- Assist with periodic branch inspections.
- Identify irregularities and potential operational risk exposures.
- Prepare monitoring observations and reports as required.
- Recommend corrective actions for identified operational weaknesses.
- Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
- Report significant observations and control weaknesses to management.
- Support risk management and internal control enhancement initiatives.
- Assist the Branch Monitoring Team with monitoring, review and operational support activities.
