Browns Thermal Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Executive – Quality Assurance to join its Plastic Manufacturing Department in Katunayake. Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
- Experience in monitoring manufacturing processes and maintaining product quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with production teams and other relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure product quality throughout the plastic manufacturing process.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Identify product defects and perform root cause analysis.
- Recommend and support the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records and prepare quality-related reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality and reduce rejection rates.
- Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, standards and requirements.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to identify potential quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Communicate quality issues and corrective action requirements to relevant teams.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control practices.
- Good understanding of manufacturing quality processes.
- Knowledge of inspection methods and defect identification.
- Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production and quality team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify quality issues and recommend practical corrective actions.
