## Responsibilities

the selected coach will be responsible for the following duties:

* Conduct chess coaching sessions for Junior School students.
* Develop students’ strategic thinking, analytical skills, and competitive chess abilities.
* Prepare and mentor teams for inter-school and national chess tournaments.
* Identify and nurture young chess talent within the school.
* Maintain discipline and uphold the values and standards of the College.

## Requirements

prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:

* Proven experience in coaching chess at school, club, or competitive level.
* Sound knowledge of chess theory, tactics, and tournament preparation.
* Ability to work effectively with young children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous achievements in chess coaching and/or competitive chess will be an added advantage.

* Will be on par with qualifications, experience and other relevant criteria.
