Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should bring:

• A Degree or Diploma in insurance, Business management, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.

• Prior experience in Underwriting or insurance operations is considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

the selected senior executive will handle the following duties:

• Ensure the smooth functioning of the underwriting unit and strictly follow all governance guidelines.

• Provide timely management information and consistently maintain the company’s service standards.

• Achieve allocated GWP (Gross Written Premium) targets while effectively managing loss ratios.

• Coordinate closely with internal teams and maintain strong working relationships with marketing channels.

• Support and guide the underwriting team, including providing on-the-job training and driving people development.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong leadership traits with the capacity to mentor junior staff and optimize operational workflows.
