Candidate Profile

Applicants should ideally possess:

• 10–12 years of progressive experience in enterprise networking across Data Centre, LAN, and WAN/SD-WAN environments
• Strong expertise in Data Centre Networking including Spine-Leaf architectures and EVPN/VXLAN
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, policy-driven networking, multi-tenant design, and automation capabilities
• Solid knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
• Experience with QoS, multicast, and network segmentation
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center) will be preferred
• Exposure to 24/7 operations, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance in banking environments
• Familiarity with network security controls and hybrid/cloud networking technologies including VMware NSX.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Managing and operating the bank’s network backbone, including Data Centre (Cisco ACI), Enterprise LAN, and WAN/SD-WAN connectivity
• Designing and optimizing high-performance, resilient network architectures for banking applications
• Ensuring network availability through redundancy models, failover mechanisms, and proactive monitoring
• Leading incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive measures across network domains
• Driving WAN transformation initiatives including migration from MPLS to hybrid and SD-WAN architectures
• Collaborating with cybersecurity teams, vendors, and ISPs on modernization initiatives including automation and orchestration.
