Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualification:

• A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 or higher Proficiency Certificate in Carpentry.
• The qualification should be issued by a Technical or Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry work for buildings, offices, laboratories, and institutional facilities.
• Construct, repair, and maintain wooden furniture, doors, windows, roofing structures, and fixtures.
• Perform renovation and maintenance work as required.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and measurements.
• Maintain carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards.
• Assist with infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects.
• Perform other carpentry-related duties assigned by the Institute.
