Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A Certificate of Proficiency in the Accounting field with a qualification not below National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5.
• The qualification should be issued by a Technical or Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).
• Internal candidates should possess the qualifications required for external applicants.
• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age. The upper age limit will not apply to eligible internal candidates.
• Applicants should be citizens of Sri Lanka.
• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post.
• Should possess excellent moral character.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting internal audit assignments.
• Verify financial records and accounting documents.
• Support compliance and internal control activities.
• Prepare audit working papers and reports.
• Maintain audit documentation accurately.
• Assist in identifying financial irregularities and risks.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Perform other audit-related duties assigned by management.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Category: MA 2-1.
• Basic Salary: Rs. 46,960 per month.
• Cost of Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800 per month.
• Additional benefits will be provided according to the corporation’s policies and applicable government regulations.
