Qualifications & Experience

External Candidates

Applicants should possess either of the following:

Option 1

• A Degree in Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Science, or another relevant field recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualifying experience in a relevant field in a Corporation, Board, or reputed Statutory Institution.

OR

Option 2

• Passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute in a subject area relevant to the post.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualifying experience in a relevant field in a Corporation, Board, or reputed Statutory Institution.

Internal Candidates

Applicants should possess either:

• The qualifications required for external candidates.

OR

• Minimum 5 years of satisfactory service in the post of Management Assistant – Non-Technological (MA1-1 or MA1-2 Grade II) in the relevant subject area.

General Requirements

• Applicants should be 22 to 45 years of age.
• The upper age limit does not apply to eligible internal candidates.
• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Should be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post.
• Must possess excellent moral character.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Prepare marketing reports and performance evaluations.
• Support sales growth and business development activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Category: JM 1-1.
• Basic Salary: Rs. 65,633 per month.
• Cost of Living Allowance: Rs. 17,800 per month.
