Construction Industry Development Authority Vacancies 2026

The Construction Industry Development Authority Vacancies 2026 notification has been officially issued by the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) under the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Water Supply.

These positions are open to both external and internal candidates under the specified qualification criteria.

🎓 1️⃣ Supply Officer – (JM 1-2) Grade II

🔹 External Candidates

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Business Administration
  • Business Management
  • Accountancy
  • Financial Management
  • Commerce
  • Science
• Degree must be recognized by the UGC.

🔹 Internal Candidates

• Must meet external qualifications

OR

• Minimum 05 years satisfactory service as a Management Assistant (Non-Tech) Grade II in CIDA in a relevant subject area.

🏗️ 2️⃣ Maintenance Officer – (JM 1-2) Grade II

🔹 External Candidates (One of the following)

1. NVQ Level 7 Certificate in relevant field (recognized by TVEC)

OR

2. NVQ Level 6 Certificate with minimum 05 years post-qualifying experience

OR

3. NVQ Level 5 Certificate with minimum 10 years post-qualifying experience in:
   • Government Department
   • Corporation
   • Board
   • Reputed Private Sector Organization

🔹 Internal Candidates

• Must meet external qualifications

OR

• Minimum 05 years satisfactory service as Management Assistant (Tech) Grade II in CIDA.

💰 3️⃣ Accounts Officer – (JM 1-2) Grade II

🔹 External Candidates (One of the following)

1. Bachelor’s Degree in:
   • Finance
   • Accountancy
   • Commerce
   • Accounting & Financial Management
   • Business Administration
   • Public Administration
   • Public Management
   • Management
     (UGC recognized)

OR

2. Passed Intermediate Examination of:
   • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL)
   • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – Part I & II
   • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

🔹 Internal Candidates

• Must meet external qualifications

OR

• Minimum 05 years satisfactory service as Management Assistant (Non-Tech) Grade II in CIDA.

💵 Salary Code & Monthly Salary Scale

JM 1-2 – 2025

Rs. 74,010 – 10 x 1,360 – 18 x 2,040 = Rs. 124,330

• Initial Salary Step (as per DMS Circular No. 01/2025): Rs. 66,781
• From 01.01.2027: Rs. 74,010

🎂 Age Limit

• Minimum: 22 years
• Maximum: 45 years

📌 Upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates and candidates from Public/Corporate Sector.

📋 Recruitment Procedure

• Written Competitive Examination and/or
• Structured Interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority.
