Senura Civil Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is a CIDA CS2-graded construction company in Sri Lanka, certified with ISO 9001:2015 – QMS, ISO 14001:2015 – EMS, and ISO 45001:2018 – OHSMS.

The company is expanding its project team and is looking for qualified and experienced individuals with road construction and infrastructure experience to support its projects in the Uva Province.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Surveying Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of proven relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position – mandatory.
• Experience in road construction and infrastructure projects will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out surveying and measurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct accurate site surveys and establish required reference points.
• Set out construction works according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Take measurements and verify levels, alignments, coordinates, and dimensions.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure they are executed according to the required survey data.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and other project personnel regarding surveying requirements.
• Assist with quantity measurements and verification of completed construction works.
• Identify and report surveying discrepancies or deviations.
• Ensure surveying activities are carried out accurately and efficiently in accordance with project requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of land and construction surveying.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to perform accurate measurements and setting-out work.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers and construction teams.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a project-site environment.
• Practical experience in road construction and infrastructure surveying will be an advantage.
