Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Marketing, or part qualification from a recognized professional body such as IBSL, CIM, CA, or CMA will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) regulations.
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing Licensed Finance Companies (LFCs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable AML/CFT laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Review transaction monitoring alerts based on customer profiles and transaction patterns.
- Escalate unusual or suspicious transactions to the relevant internal authorities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Independently review and resolve transaction monitoring alerts while maintaining effective AML/CFT oversight.
- Complete assigned tasks within stipulated deadlines.
- Provide support to other departments and functions whenever required.

- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Report writing and documentation skills.
- Time management and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
