Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following academic qualifications:

• Degree from a recognized university in Sri Lanka

OR

• Degree from a recognized foreign university preferred by the bank

Applicants must also possess:

• Diploma in Compliance conducted by the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka

OR

• Certificate Course in Compliance from a foreign university preferred by the bank

Experience requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in compliance-related functions.
• Previous exposure and expertise in banking compliance will be an added advantage.
• Ability to independently manage compliance-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all compliance-related activities independently.
• Ensure adherence to banking regulations, policies, and compliance standards.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and implement necessary compliance procedures.
• Assist in maintaining internal controls and regulatory reporting.
• Support risk management and governance initiatives.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and records.
• Coordinate with internal departments on compliance-related matters.
• Promote a strong compliance culture within the organization.

• Strong knowledge of banking compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
