Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualification:

• A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 or higher Proficiency Certificate in Automobile/Mechanical (Workshop).
• The qualification should be issued by a Technical or Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and workshop equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs efficiently.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance of Institute vehicles.
• Inspect engines, braking systems, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and service records.
• Ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable, and roadworthy.
• Follow workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Perform other automobile and mechanical workshop duties assigned by the Institute.

• Salary Scale: PL 3 (2025) – Rs. 40,834 per month (Salary as of 01.01.2026 in accordance with Management Services Circular No. 01/2025).
