Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting or a related discipline.
• Alternatively, a full professional qualification from CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Minimum of 4 years’ managerial experience in financial reporting within the banking or NBFI sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SLFRS, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, SLFRS, and applicable industry regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information to regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, and other relevant institutions.
• Streamline finance operations by improving systems, procedures, and financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for strategic planning and business decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
