Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Accountancy, or an equivalent qualification from a UGC-recognized university.
- Intermediate or Licentiate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL), CIMA UK Stage I & II, or Associate Membership of IBSL will be accepted.
- Minimum 6 years of executive-level experience in branch credit appraisal, credit disbursement, risk operations, and credit recovery within a bank or recognized financial institution.
- At least 4 years of post-qualifying experience as an Assistant Manager.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the branch in achieving sales, profitability, and customer acquisition targets.
- Ensure smooth and efficient branch operations while maintaining internal controls.
- Motivate, supervise, and develop branch staff to achieve business objectives.
- Manage branch credit appraisal, credit disbursement, and recovery functions.
- Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong customer relationships and promote the bank’s products and services.
- Drive business development initiatives to improve branch performance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary Scale: Rs. 135,125 – 2,650 × 20 – 188,125 per month.
- Bank-approved allowances including Cost of Living, Rent, and 10% Allowance.
- Approximate Gross Monthly Salary: Rs. 248,500.00.
