Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is the premier national governing body for cricket in Sri Lanka. A BSc in Physiotherapy or a Higher National Diploma in Physiotherapy from the School of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, Sri Lanka.
Registered as a physiotherapist with the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
A minimum of 2 years of working experience.
Experience in sports physiotherapy, preferably in cricket or elite sport.
Strong knowledge of sports injury management and rehabilitation protocols.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary high-performance teams.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills under pressure.
Strong understanding of athlete workload and injury prevention strategies.
Competent computer skills with Microsoft applications.
Prior experience in elite or national-level sport will be considered an added advantage.
Provide comprehensive physiotherapy services for players across assigned teams and structures.
Assess, diagnose, and manage diverse sports-related injuries.
Design and implement tailored injury rehabilitation and return-to-play programmes.
Work closely with medical staff, strength and conditioning trainers, and coaching staff to ensure cohesive player care.
Monitor player workload regularly and contribute to broader injury prevention strategies.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical and injury records for all assigned players.
Provide pitch-side and match-day medical support when required.
Ensure timely communication of player injury status and progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
