Job Overview

Sri Lanka Foundation is inviting applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Hostels and Catering Manager.

Hostels and Catering Manager

• Grade: MM 1-1-2025

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Special Degree in:
  • Management
  • Business Management
  • Or any other Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the subject area

recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)

AND

• Minimum one (01) year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field.

Option 2

• Passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional chartered institute relevant to the subject area

AND

• Minimum one (01) year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field.

Internal Candidates

Internal applicants should possess:

• Qualifications required for external candidates

OR

• Minimum five (05) years satisfactory service in the Junior Manager (JM) Category relevant to the subject area.

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 22 and 45 years of age.

Salary Scale

• Salary Scale: MM 1-1-2025
• Rs. 91,690 – 168,240/- per month
• Salary in accordance with Management Services Circular 01/2025.

Nature of Appointment

• Permanent appointment
• Entitled to:
  • Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF)
  • Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF)

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Organizing training programs as directed by management
• Preparing annual logistic plans for training programs
• Monitoring logistic arrangements
• Supervising kitchen and hostel operations.

• Written Competitive Examination
  AND/OR
• Structured Interview.
