University of Kelaniya is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Caretaker Cum Cook on assignment basis.

Position Details

Caretaker Cum Cook

• Employment Type: Assignment Basis
• Duration of Assignment: 06 Months
• Organization: University of Kelaniya

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six (06) subjects
• At least two (02) credit passes
• Qualifications obtained in not more than two sittings

AND

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 proficiency certificate relevant to the post
• Certificate should be issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

Option 2

• Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six (06) subjects
• At least two (02) credit passes in not more than two sittings

AND

• Minimum one (01) year working experience in a relevant field with industrial skills.

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

General Requirements

Every applicant should:

• Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties efficiently
• Possess excellent moral character.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 60,083/- inclusive of:
  • Basic salary
  • Cost of living allowance

Additional Benefits

• Overtime allowances applicable for 06 hours per day.
