University of Kelaniya is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Driver (Grade III) on permanent basis.

Position Details

Driver (Grade III)

• Employment Type: Permanent

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination in six (06) subjects
• At least two (02) credit passes
• Qualifications obtained in not more than two sittings

AND

• A valid heavy vehicle driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic

AND

• Minimum three (03) years experience in driving after obtaining the driving license.

Age Limit

• Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

General Requirements

Every applicant should:

• Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
• Be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties efficiently
• Possess excellent moral character.

Salary Scale

• UPL 3(III)
• Rs. 48,005 – 55,845/- per month

Approximate Gross Monthly Salary

• Approximately Rs. 80,798/- inclusive of allowances.

Selection will be based on:

• Structured Interview
  AND
• Trade Test.
